On Thursday, May 16, Bisbee High School held their annual awards assembly. The Bisbee Foundation was present to award the following scholarships to BHS graduating seniors. Miguel Moreno received $3,000.00 for the Margo Macartney Education Scholarship, the Anderson-Rivas Scholarship and a Bisbee Foundation Scholarship. Miguel was also awarded The Fred Corrin Scholarship worth $48,000.00. Janitza Avechuco was awarded the Al and Jane Ridgeway Scholarship, a Bisbee Foundation Scholarship and a $2,500.00 Merit Award Scholarship. Priscilla Venegas was awarded The Bisbee Foundation Merit Scholarship for $2,500.00. Congratulations to these students! Their hard work and dedication are inspirational and we wish them good luck in their new academic adventures!
