The Bisbee Foundation and the Fred Corrin Scholarship Committee hosted a Greet, Meet and Eat Dessert Social on January 15, 2025 in the Culinary Arts Classroom at Bisbee High School. The event was sponsored by The Bisbee Foundation and students from Ms. Almada's culinary class created and made the appetizers and desserts. There was everything from jalapeno poppers and pizza bites, to chocolate mousse and cold stone ice-cream. Everything was amazing delicious!
The classroom was filled with BHS interested seniors learning about the Fred Corrin Scholarship and the various other scholarships the Foundation has to offer. TBF Board President, Brenda Morales spoke to the seniors about the importance of applying and submitting applications and paperwork on time as well as committee members; Sylvia Anable, Charles Bethea, and Kevin McBeth. Former Fred Corrin Scholarship recipients, Breanna Postles and Adaceli Salaiz Noriega related to the seniors how receiving the Fred Corrin Scholarship has impacted their education and career paths.
