For several years, The Bisbee Foundation has provided Love of Learning Mini Grants to educators within the Bisbee/Naco school districts. These $250 grants, though modest in amount, enable teachers to enhance their projects, activities, and programs. In 2024, the tradition continued, with eight creative proposals submitted for review by the board.

Some of these projects include: a Filipino Cultural exchange program for students at Bisbee High School; pyrography, wood leather burning for art students in the Bisbee school district; interactive math exploration kits for students in the Naco school district, and indigenous plant collection in the Chiricahua Desert with Bisbee High School science students.

If you are a teacher in the Bisbee/Naco area we encourage you to go to the LOL link and either download or submit an application online at

The deadline for submitting an application is November 1st.
